Medal reward system
One of the key techniques of gamification is challenge. We do this through a medal reward system. For each exercise, a bronze, silver or gold medal can be obtained.
With this, we challenge the student to complete all exercises as best as possible to achieve the best result.
Interactive rankings
Another technique of gamification is applying competition. This should result in users wanting to perform at their highest level. Through various rankings, we have added a competitive element to our course.
These rankings compare the results of all users and will reset daily, so that all students have a chance to finish at the top every day!
Rewards for performance
To encourage good results, rewards are handed out during our course for various achievements. This motivates the student to keep practising.
For example, a student can earn trophies when he/she has practised for several days in a row or when the student has earned a certain number of medals.
Personalised exercises
During the course, the student can choose from various topics he/she is interested in. To keep the student's attention, we then let him/her practice as much as possible with interesting facts about these topics.
While learning touch typing, we also broaden the student's general knowledge!
